Rashford's Future in Play as Arsenal and Chelsea Eye Transfers

The final days of the window are starting to bite, and some big names suddenly look far less secure than they did a month ago.

Manchester United have not closed the door on Marcus Rashford leaving Old Trafford, with Arsenal and Barcelona both tracking the 28-year-old’s situation, according to Teamtalk.

United are understood to be open to scenarios that once felt unthinkable, and Arsenal are keeping a close eye as they weigh up attacking reinforcements. Barcelona are also in the frame, sensing an opportunity if United decide to cash in.

Chelsea consider Camara, Newcastle move late

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea are drawing up contingency plans in midfield. The Mail reports that Monaco’s Lamine Camara, 22, is under serious consideration as a potential replacement should Enzo Fernandez depart. The Senegal international has impressed in Ligue 1 and now sits high on Chelsea’s shortlist.

Newcastle, meanwhile, are trying to land late attacking firepower. The Telegraph says they are making a push to sign Lille’s 21-year-old Belgium forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo before the deadline.

Julian Alvarez has turned his back on a possible return to Manchester City. Cadena Ser reports that the 26-year-old Argentina and Atletico Madrid forward has rejected the chance to go back to the Etihad, opting to continue his career in Spain.

Newcastle’s recruitment drive does not stop there. Sky Germany claims they are also interested in Stuttgart midfielder Bilal El Khannouss, 22, though Everton are ready to rival them for the Morocco international. Teamtalk says the Gunners have revived their interest in Real Madrid’s Brazil forward Endrick, 20, who is believed to be worried about his place in the pecking order at the Bernabeu. Any sign of uncertainty in Madrid, and Arsenal are prepared to test Real’s resolve.

Across the Premier League, several clubs are circling Crystal Palace striker Jean‑Philippe Mateta. Manchester United, Tottenham and Galatasaray are all considering moves, but Caught Offside reports that Aston Villa have shown the strongest intent after tabling a £20m bid for the 29-year-old Frenchman.

Aston Villa, busy on multiple fronts, have already struck a major deal. According to the Mail, Villa have agreed a £47m fee for Paris St-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye. The 18-year-old Senegal international is set to become one of the headline arrivals of the Premier League window – and potentially a defining gamble in Villa’s push to stay among the elite.
