According to TEAMtalk, United “have no plans whatsoever” to sell Fernandes in this window. The report also underlines that the player himself is not pushing for a move away from Old Trafford.

Instead, Fernandes is described as keen to open talks over a new contract, one that would stretch beyond his current deal, which runs until 2027 with an option for a further year.
