Champions League 2026-27 League Phase Fixtures Announced
The draw for the 2026-27 Champions League league phase has been finalized, revealing some exciting matchups. Five Premier League teams have secured their spots: Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Aston Villa. They now know the opponents they will face across their eight fixtures.
Paris Saint-Germain remain the team to beat after Luis Enrique's side claimed back-to-back titles by defeating Arsenal last season. Each club will aim to navigate this tough schedule to secure a place in the knockout rounds.
Premier League Clubs' Opponents
All five English clubs have clarity on their routes to progress. Returning teams Manchester United and Aston Villa join Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City, who advanced beyond the group stage last term.
Arsenal will host Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Lille, and newcomers Sabah at the Emirates. Their toughest challenge comes away against Bayern Munich.
Liverpool will visit Inter Milan again, meeting Curtis Jones’ former club, and play Atletico Madrid at Anfield once more. Other trips include Club Brugge, Fenerbahce, and LASK, while hosting Porto, Villarreal, and RC Lens.
Manchester City face a fixture against Barcelona but will watch from afar as Pep Guardiola’s side is not involved. The Citizens host champions PSG and tackle difficult matches against Napoli, RB Leipzig, and Porto.
Aston Villa, under Unai Emery, face tough opponents like PSG and Barcelona. They also meet newcomers Viking and Slavia Prague from pot four, alongside clashes with Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge, Fenerbahce, and Galatasaray.
Manchester United return to the competition against heavyweights Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid. Michael Carrick’s squad also travels to Como, Sporting CP, and Villarreal, while welcoming AS Roma, RB Leipzig, and Sabah.
