Anderson Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce for Al-Jazira

Anderson Talisca’s brief Fenerbahce chapter is over almost as quickly as it began – and his next destination is already waiting.

The Turkish giants announced on X that they have mutually agreed to terminate the Brazilian forward’s contract, drawing a line under a stint that started only in the mid-season window of the 2024-2025 campaign. No drama in the wording, just a clean break and a customary farewell.

“Anderson Talisca joined our team's ranks during the mid-season period of 2024-2025, and his contract has been terminated by mutual agreement between the two parties,” the club stated, before adding a simple send-off: they wished him success in the next stage of his career.

That next stage is set to unfold in the UAE.

According to Transfermarkt, citing respected journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca has reached an agreement with Al-Jazira. The move would reunite him with another Brazilian attacker, Malcom, the former Al-Hilal forward, in what promises to be one of the headline attacking pairings in the league.

Ozbudak reports that Al-Jazira have tied Talisca down on a two-year deal, with an option for a third season. The numbers underline the scale of their commitment: the 30-year-old is expected to earn a total annual salary of just over 10 million euros.

For now, only the formalities stand between Talisca and his new adventure in Abu Dhabi. He still needs to pass his medical and sign the paperwork.

Once that ink dries, one of the most intriguing left-footed playmakers of his generation will be back under the Gulf spotlight, this time in Al-Jazira colours.
