After their win, Mensik and Alcaraz discussed the playing conditions at the O2 Arena during a post-match press conference. Mensik described the courts as some of the slowest he encountered this year, explaining how it disrupted his rhythm. "My game relies heavily on serving and powerful groundstrokes," he said, "and finishing points became tougher. The balls used didn't help either; they felt sluggish, which made adapting even harder."
