Liverpool Secures Agreement with Ibrahim Mbaye

Liverpool have reportedly agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye, marking a key development in their summer transfer plans. The 18-year-old Senegalese international is set to join the Reds on a five-year deal, according to Fabrice Hawkins of RMC Sport.

Mbaye, known for his speed and potential, has become a top target for manager Andoni Iraola. This move follows the earlier signing of Victor Munoz from Osasuna as Liverpool looks to add youthful energy to their attacking options.

The young winger made 29 appearances last season for PSG under Luis Enrique, scoring three goals. Despite his involvement, he found regular playing time limited behind players like Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Interest from German club Bayer Leverkusen was also reported, but Mbaye appears keen on a Premier League challenge.

Enhanced Bid for Bradley Barcola

Alongside the Mbaye deal, Liverpool is intensifying its pursuit of French international Bradley Barcola with an improved offer of €135 million. The 23-year-old has long been on Liverpool’s radar, and this bid reflects the club’s determination to meet PSG’s valuation.

Following the club-record £125 million signing of Alexander Isak last summer, Liverpool had been cautious about overspending. Yet, the financial situation at Anfield has changed with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos joining the club's ownership, allowing for more assertive moves in the transfer market.
