Juventus Pursues Kolo Muani as Striker Shows Interest
Randal Kolo Muani is back on Juventus’ radar – and this time, the feeling is mutual.
The French forward, unwanted at Paris Saint-Germain and coming off a bruising season in England, has shown what has been described as “total openness” to returning to Turin for the 2026-27 campaign, according to Fabrizio Romano. Juventus have reopened talks with the player’s camp and believe the conditions are finally right to bring him back.
From Turin spark to London struggle
Juventus know exactly what Kolo Muani can offer when the environment suits him. During the second half of the 2024-25 season, on loan from PSG, he produced the numbers of a reliable Serie A finisher: eight goals in 16 league appearances, averaging a strike every other game. It was a short spell, but long enough to leave a mark.
The Allianz Stadium saw a forward who thrived on space, attacked the box with conviction and gave the Bianconeri a different dimension in the final third. That run of form convinced Juventus to try to keep him beyond that loan. They pushed to bring him back the following summer, but talks with PSG stalled and the deal collapsed.
Kolo Muani’s path then veered to north London. Tottenham Hotspur took him on loan for the 2025-26 Premier League season, a move that promised a fresh start in one of Europe’s most demanding leagues. It never caught fire.
One goal in 30 Premier League appearances tells its own story. For the player, it was a flat, frustrating year. For Spurs, it was nearly disastrous: they stayed in the top flight by just two points, skirting the edge of relegation to the Championship. In that context, Kolo Muani became a symbol of a season that never quite clicked.
Juventus won’t let go
Yet Juventus have not been put off. They have been circling for more than a year, testing the waters at different points of the 2025-26 campaign. Each time they probed, they ran into resistance from then Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank, who refused to sanction the striker’s departure mid-season, even though Kolo Muani was far from an automatic starter.
Now the landscape has shifted. PSG are under no financial pressure and have no urgent need to cash in, but they are also not pushing to reintegrate Kolo Muani into their plans. He sits in that awkward space: a valuable asset, but not a priority. That gives Juventus room to operate.
The Italian club have re-established contact with the player’s entourage and are working on a formula that could finally unlock the move they have chased on and off for two summers. The key element this time is the player’s stance. After a difficult year in England and with his PSG future clouded, a return to a league and a club where he has already produced looks increasingly attractive.
For Juventus, it is a calculated bet on a forward they believe they have already seen at close to his best. For Kolo Muani, it could be the crossroads moment of his career: another false start, or the revival that redefines him at the top level.
