Giannis Konstantelias' Bundesliga Debut Cut Short by Injury

Borussia Dortmund’s new signing Giannis Konstantelias saw a dream Bundesliga debut turn sour with a potentially serious knee injury, casting a shadow over an otherwise impressive first outing in black and yellow.

The 23-year-old went down shortly after half-time with Dortmund 2-0 up, twisting his knee in a challenge. He immediately hit the turf, stayed there, and covered his face with his hands – the kind of reaction that sends an instant chill through a stadium.
