Alejandro Balde has made his stance clear: he wants to stay at Barcelona and fight for his place.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Barça have spent the final weeks of the window actively exploring a potential sale of the left-back, weighing up their options in a market where every significant fee matters. Any deal, though, would require a major offer from a top club to even be considered.

United circle, but finances bite
