Reports reveal that the couple signed a prenuptial agreement just before the wedding.

The couple, who have been together for nearly ten years, finalized their prenuptial contract on August 10, one day prior to their wedding. The agreement was signed at a public notary’s office in Lisbon, confirming that each will keep their assets acquired before marriage separate.

Private Ceremony with Close Family and Friends

The wedding took place on August 11 in a civil ceremony at their mansion located in Quinta da Marinha, Cascais. Attendance was limited to only four witnesses and their children, ensuring an intimate atmosphere. Present as witnesses were Georgina's sister Ivana, Ronaldo’s close friend Miguel Paixão, and Spanish couple José Rodríguez Sangil and Mónica Gonçalez Martínez.

Notably absent were Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro, and his siblings Hugo, Elma, and Katia. The registrar Maria Manuel Ferreira de Campos Folhadela de Oliveira officiated the ceremony, having traveled from Porto for the event. This special day came exactly one year after the couple announced their engagement on social media.

The venue is Ronaldo’s lavish mansion in the prestigious Quinta da Marinha neighborhood. The property boasts luxury amenities like an infinity pool, underground parking, and a private cinema, reflecting the superstar's extravagant lifestyle.

Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Notícias later published the marriage certificate, confirming both their identities and revealing they will keep their original surnames post-wedding.

Dispelling Rumors About Wedding Location

Earlier rumors suggested the wedding would take place at Funchal Cathedral in Madeira, Ronaldo's hometown, but those claims were false. Instead, the couple preferred a quiet celebration surrounded by their children.

After the ceremony, Ronaldo and Georgina returned to Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo is gearing up for the new season with Al Nassr.
