Thuram scored against Udinese and in the comeback over Napoli, and he led the line alongside Lautaro in the Champions League away to Real Madrid. That partnership should be restored in Rome after Chivu’s rotation on Monday.

Inter have found the net in every game this season. Thuram has been at the heart of that, stretching defences, forcing saves, dragging centre-backs into uncomfortable areas. The only real concern is the physical toll of a demanding away fixture and the possibility of an early substitution. His form, though, is electric.
