PSG Targets Ajax Winger Mika Godts Amid Barcola Exit

Paris Saint-Germain have started talks with Ajax over highly rated winger Mika Godts, with the French champions moving quickly to reshape their attack ahead of a crucial summer.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that discussions are under way between the clubs, with PSG identifying the Belgian as a key target after accelerating their rebuild in the final third. The Ligue 1 side are already close to sealing a deal for Maghnes Akliouche from AS Monaco, having seen off competition from Liverpool for the Frenchman’s signature.

Now the spotlight swings to Amsterdam.

Ajax dig in, but Godts says yes

Ajax do not intend to make this easy. The Dutch club are determined to keep Godts, a player they see as central to their next cycle, and are expected to drive a hard bargain.

On the player’s side, the picture is clearer. The right-footed attacker has reportedly given the green light to a move to Paris after what have been described as “direct positive talks” with PSG’s transfer chief Luis Ocampos.
