Peter Handscomb Talks Facing Indian Bowling Precision

Peter Handscomb, leading the Australia A team on their tour in India, reflects on the difficulties posed by Indian bowlers who are known for their sharp accuracy and consistency. Despite a tough start in the first unofficial Test against India A in Puducherry, Handscomb remains focused on adapting his approach to find scoring chances.

The 35-year-old batsman, who has featured in 11 Tests against India, highlights the importance of choosing when to attack carefully. "You've got to attack when you get the opportunity to score, but it is tough," he said ahead of the second Test starting Tuesday. "The Indian bowlers are incredibly accurate, consistent and don’t give a lot of bad balls. You’ve got to try and find a way to score off good balls. It can be tough when the ball misbehaves, but that’s the challenge of playing in India."

Handscomb acknowledges the challenge of constantly facing some of the world’s best players but values the experience deeply. "It’s tough to keep coming up against India, but it’s also such an amazing thing to do," he added. "There are some of the best players in the world here and I’m lucky enough to have played against some of them."
