Injury Blow for Napoli: Spinazzola Ruled Out Against Fiorentina

Napoli’s growing injury list has claimed another key name. Leonardo Spinazzola will not travel to Florence for Sunday’s lunchtime clash with Fiorentina after suffering a mild strain in the hamstring of his right thigh.

The club confirmed on Friday that the full-back did not train with the rest of the squad, with medical checks revealing the problem in his right leg. The issue is not considered serious, but it is enough to sideline the experienced Italy international for the match at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, scheduled for 12:30 CET (11:30 BST).

Reports from Il Mattino and Sky leave little room for doubt: Spinazzola will miss the game, another setback for a Napoli side already stretched by absences.

And the concerns do not end there.

Napoli also announced that Frank Zambo Anguissa continued to work separately from the group. With time running out before kick-off, his chances of featuring in Florence look extremely slim.
