Musiala Scare Mars Bayern Munich's 3-1 Win Over Leipzig

Bayern Munich beat RB Leipzig 3-1 in the heat on Saturday, but the scoreline faded fast when Jamal Musiala suddenly went down in alarming fashion.

The Germany international had just made it 3-1, finishing off a strong display in soaring temperatures in Munich, when he collapsed on the pitch without any contact. One moment he was celebrating. The next, he was crumpling.

Ismael Saibari reacted first, sprinting across and managing to catch Musiala before he hit the turf. Joshua Kimmich rushed over as well, waving urgently for help as concern spread through both sets of players.

Bayern’s medical staff charged onto the field and a stretcher followed, raising the tension inside the stadium. Play stopped. The friendly feel of the afternoon disappeared in an instant.

After several minutes of treatment on the pitch, Musiala finally got back to his feet. He did not continue, but he was able to leave the field with the support of the team doctor rather than on the stretcher that had been brought out.
