Liverpool to Sign Bradley Barcola for £100 Million

Liverpool have reached an outline agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Bradley Barcola in a deal that underlines just how aggressively the club intend to move on from the Mo Salah era.

The 23-year-old winger, long identified as Liverpool’s priority target this summer, is set to cost a guaranteed £100 million, with a further £20m in performance-related add-ons, according to The Times. Negotiations between the clubs reportedly made a “breakthrough” overnight, leaving only the final details to be signed off before Barcola swaps Paris for Anfield.

Liverpool’s Salah successor

Liverpool’s need was obvious. Salah, the club’s modern icon on the right flank, left for Trabzonspor on a free transfer earlier this month, taking with him a decade of goals, assists and aura. The search for a replacement has defined Liverpool’s window, and the recruitment team have zeroed in on Barcola as the man to carry that burden.

Barcola has been pushing for a move away from PSG in pursuit of regular minutes.
