Lionel Messi Sends Warm Birthday Wishes to Wife Antonella Roccuzzo

Lionel Messi, forward for Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his love for his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, with a touching birthday post on Instagram. He wrote, “Happy birthday to my life. Have a beautiful day. I love you.”

The couple has been together since 2008 and tied the knot in 2017. They share a long history, having known each other since they were five years old, growing up in Rosario. Together, they have three sons: Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro.

Most of their family life took place in Barcelona before Messi and his family moved to Paris when it became clear that FC Barcelona could not renew his contract last summer. This was a major change, but the family seems to be adjusting well.

Messi is performing solidly for PSG, though some might say he hasn't yet reached the extraordinary levels fans are used to seeing. At present, he's preparing to return to Spain for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. PSG holds a 1-0 advantage from the first leg played at the Parc des Princes.
