Randal Kolo Muani Undergoes Successful Surgery on Hand Injury

Randal Kolo Muani has undergone successful surgery on a fractured hand, Juventus have confirmed, but the striker is expected back in training within days in a major boost for Luciano Spalletti.

The French forward picked up the injury during an accidental collision in the 2-0 Serie A win over Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday night. He completed the match, but subsequent tests revealed a fracture of the proximal phalanx in his hand, forcing the club’s medical staff to opt for surgery.

The operation, an osteosynthesis procedure, was carried out on Monday at the J|medical centre in Turin, within the club’s Continassa complex, by specialist De Loris Pegoli. Juventus described the intervention as successful.

Crucially for Spalletti, the recovery timetable is short. Kolo Muani is expected to resume training after just a couple of days, which should keep him available during the upcoming international break rather than sidelined for an extended spell.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward is still settling into life in Turin but has already chipped in with one goal and two assists across six competitive appearances for the Bianconeri this season. Now he faces a brief pause, a protective bandage, and then a swift return to the front line of a Juventus side that is starting to gather momentum.
