“Galatasaray are prepared to offer Bruno Fernandes the same salary as Osimhen, who is presently the top earner in the squad,” he said. “They will also present whatever amount is necessary for the transfer fee. However, I believe that the reports circulating in the English media are being utilised in negotiations with United.”

So the message from Istanbul is clear: if United are willing to talk, Galatasaray will not be outbid on wages and are ready to meet the fee.
