FC Groningen Dominates PEC Zwolle with 3-0 Victory

FC Groningen did not just beat PEC Zwolle on Friday night. They brushed them aside. A 3-0 win at a lively Euroborg pushed Dick Lukkien’s team up to sixth, while PEC slid down to 16th and left Groningen with more questions than answers after another bruising evening.

Zwolle came north still stinging from that 0-7 humiliation against Feyenoord, desperate for a response, some kind of reset. Instead, they ran into a Groningen side that smelled blood and took control from the opening whistle.
