Besiktas Makes Final Offer for Mohamed Salah's Transfer

Besiktas have pushed their pursuit of Mohamed Salah as far as they are prepared to go. Now they wait.

Club president Serdal Adali has confirmed that the Turkish side have submitted what he called their “final official offer” to the former Liverpool star, making clear that the next move belongs entirely to the Egyptian forward.

Speaking to Turkish outlet Ortacizgi, Adali laid out the state of play in unusually open terms for a negotiation of this scale.

“As has been published in the media, we have for some time been conducting negotiations with Salah and his representatives regarding the details of the deal,” he said, detailing a process that has stretched across the window and intensified in recent days.

The talks have gone beyond initial feelers. Besiktas have gone through the numbers, the clauses, the add-ons, all of it.

“In the final stage, we discussed the demands of the player and his representatives from all angles, and after mutual negotiations, we submitted our final official offer. We also asked them to inform us of their decision within a short period,” Adali explained.

The message is clear: Besiktas have pushed their limits. The player must now decide whether to step through the door they have opened.

Transfer work “at full force”

Besiktas are trying to reshape their squad with urgency, and Salah sits at the very top of that ambition. Adali underlined that the club’s broader transfer business is ongoing at “full force”, but he drew a firm line under the Salah pursuit.

“This is the current situation regarding Salah,” he said. “We have assessed the amendments requested since the start of the negotiations, in line with the club's interests, and we have submitted our final offer. Now the decision lies with the player.”

No brinkmanship. No public threats to walk away. Just a clear statement that the club’s proposal will not be stretched any further.

The Istanbul giants have been consistently linked with Salah throughout the current window, and the chase has now reached its decisive phase.

Terms agreed, decision pending

According to reliable Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Besiktas have already reached agreement on personal terms with Salah and his agent. The proposed deal on the table is a one-season contract, reportedly worth up to €12 million.

The structure is simple but bold: a short-term, high-value commitment designed to tempt a global star into a new chapter in Istanbul.

If Salah accepts, Besiktas would be landing one of the most high-profile signings in Turkish football in recent years, a statement move both on the pitch and commercially. If he declines, Adali’s stance suggests the club will not return with a richer offer.

The ball, as the president has made sure everyone knows, is now at Salah’s feet.
