adidas Launches ‘Chaos vs Control’ Boot Pack for World Cup

adidas has gone back to one of football’s great dividing lines and painted it in white, solar turbo and solar purple. The brand’s new ‘Chaos vs Control’ boot pack drags the F50 and Predator back to centre stage, fresh from the spotlight of the closing stages of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Two boots. Two ideas of how the game should be played.

Predator: control dressed in white

The Predator Elite FT lands in a clean, striking white, slashed with solar turbo stripes and finished with black detailing. It looks sharp. It’s built sharper.

At the heart of the new Predator is NANOSTRIKE+, a reworked mesh upper that blends softness and lightness with built-in grip elements to sharpen striking precision. The material wraps the foot but still gives that textured bite on the ball that has defined the Predator line for decades.

The iconic FOLD-OVER TONGUE returns as a functional weapon, not just a nod to nostalgia, flattening out to offer a smooth, consistent striking surface. Underneath, the STRIKEFRAME soleplate is tuned for traction and rotational agility, letting players plant, twist and hit with conviction.

POWERSPINE runs through the midfoot, stiffening the boot where it matters most. More stability, more energy through the strike, more conviction when the ball leaves the laces. This is the boot for the playmaker who wants to slow the game down in their head while everything around them is on fast‑forward.

F50: built for pure chaos

On the other side of the divide sits the F50, all about speed and disruption. It shares the white base but trades control for chaos, flashing solar purple stripes and solar turbo accents that scream fast even on the kit rack.

The F50 is engineered for players who live on the shoulder of the last defender, who turn half-chances into breakaways. Every element leans toward pace.

The F50 Elite’s FIBERTOUCH UPPER provides lightweight support and cushioning only where it’s needed, stripping away anything that doesn’t serve speed. SPRINTWEB adds a high-definition 3D texture, giving players a cleaner touch and tighter control when they’re moving at top gear.

Lockdown comes from the COMPRESSIONFIT TUNNEL TONGUE, gripping the midfoot so the boot moves as one with the player during violent changes of direction. Beneath it all, SPRINTFRAME 360 is built to maximise acceleration and speed in every direction, from explosive first steps to recovery sprints into space.

This is the chaos option: the boot for those who tear structure apart.

‘Choose one’: a global challenge

The new pack extends adidas’ long-running invitation to players everywhere: pick your side. Chaos or Control.

Predator is aimed at the conductors. Those who dictate rhythm, pass between lines, and thread the ball into tight spaces with precision and composure.

F50 is for the disruptors. The wide forwards, the pressing forwards, the full-backs who turn defence into a foot race and dare opponents to keep up.

Arsenal cast at the heart of the story

At club level, Arsenal supporters won’t have to look far to see the new boots in full flight.

Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Magalhães are set to bring the speed in the F50, adding another layer of menace to an already aggressive attacking unit. Declan Rice and Martín Zubimendi will anchor the midfield battle in the Copa Pure III, while Mikel Merino, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Jurriën Timber will showcase the Predator Elite’s control and precision in the most demanding areas of the pitch.

The Emirates could become a weekly showcase of the full adidas spectrum: chaos on the flanks, control in the middle, structure at the back.

A full-family refresh

To round off the collection, adidas has also rolled out updated colourways for the F50 Sparkfusion and Copa franchises, pushing the new visual identity across its wider performance range.

The message is clear. Whether you see the game as something to be orchestrated or something to be ripped open at full tilt, adidas wants you to nail your colours to the mast and choose: are you Predator, or are you F50?
