Xavi Shares His Insights on Barcelona's Modern Era

He admitted that without Cruyff’s ideas, he wouldn’t have thrived as a player given his physical limitations.

Xavi compared Messi to Michael Jordan, highlighting how Messi could change matches single-handedly. "He was our joker card with exceptional work ethic and competitiveness," Xavi said.

His midfield partners earned high praise too. Iniesta was "the greatest Spanish talent" capable of playing anywhere and effortlessly beating defenders, while Busquets was "the best No. 6 in football history," known for his superior game intelligence despite lacking speed.
