We used WhoScored ratings to rank players across Europe's top five leagues based on their performances so far this season.

Ranks 30 to 21

With just four league games mostly played, some names here may find it tough to keep up their strong starts.

Among them, Patrik Schick, remembered for his Euro 2020 goal from the halfway line against Scotland, sits 29th.

The Bayer Leverkusen star edges out Bundesliga rival Hennes Behrens due to three goals and one assist from two appearances. Arda Guler, regarded as one of the top young talents globally, ranks just above him.

Surprisingly, former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appears at 26th, impressing at 37 years old with four goals and two assists in La Liga, helping Deportivo sit sixth. He’s placed below Germany’s Maximilian Mittelstadt, a solid World Cup defender for VfB Stuttgart.
