The latest edition of EA FC 27 is nearly here, giving fans a fresh look at player ratings across their favorite Premier League teams. As always, these ratings spark debate and sometimes frustration.

This is the fourth version since the series dropped the FIFA name, and there’s plenty to discuss about who tops each club’s list.

Details by Club

Arsenal show a defensive strength with their top four all defenders or defensive midfielders: Gabriel leads at 89, followed by Declan Rice, David Raya, and William Saliba at 88. Bukayo Saka dropped slightly to 87.

Aston Villa saw Emiliano Martinez leave for Chelsea, leaving Boubacar Kamara as their highest-rated player at 84. Zito Sukua trails behind at 76.

Bournemouth retained Alex Scott, their best-rated player at 81, while Eli Junior Kroupi climbed to 80 after a strong debut.

Brentford feature Igor Thiago on top with an 82 rating after scoring 22 league goals last season. Amadou Sangare and Michael Kayode follow closely with 81.

Brighton have three players rated equally at 81: Verbruggen, Vuskovic, and Mitoma, despite the team performing well beyond those numbers.

Chelsea rank Moises Caicedo highest at 86, thanks to Enzo Fernandez’s exit. Cole Palmer (85), Reece James, and Morgan Rogers (both 84) complete their upper tier.

Coventry City hold Carl Rushworth and Matt Grimes both at 76 as their top players, reflecting their summer investment in Rushworth.

Crystal Palace count Dean Henderson and Adam Wharton at 82, with Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta close behind at 81.

Everton lean heavily on goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, rated 85, far ahead of teammates like James Garner (82). Only four players in their squad exceed 80.

Fulham struggle for star quality, with only Antonee Robinson and Alex Iwobi reaching 80, the rest mostly in the 70s or lower.

Hull City have Konstantinos Tzolakis as their highest-rated player at 79, just above Hidemasa Morita.

Ipswich Town spent big to stay up, with Daizen Maeda, Sasa Lukic, and Julio Enciso all rated 78. Jaden Philogene is the top carryover from last season at 76.

Leeds United welcomed Harry Wilson, who leads them at 81, just above Anton Stach and Ethan Ampadu. Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s 79 rating feels a bit low.

Liverpool still rely on Virgil Van Dijk, rated 88 at 35 years old. Alisson follows at 87, with Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexander Isak, and Florian Wirtz at 86.

Manchester City boast Erling Haaland as one of two players rated 91 in the game, alongside Kylian Mbappe. Gianluigi Donnarumma rates 89, with Ruben Dias at 87.

Manchester United have Bruno Fernandes leading by a wide margin at 89. Youri Tielemans comes next at 85.

Newcastle United lost some stars over summer, leaving Lewis Hall as top-rated at 83. Defensive players like Tino Livramento, Fabian Schar, Malick Thiaw, and Sven Botman follow closely, while Harvey Barnes leads attacking players at 80.

Nottingham Forest have Morgan Gibbs-White on 83, with Murillo near at 82. Matz Sels, Ousmane Diomande, and Chris Wood tie at 81.

Sunderland see Granit Xhaka as their star at 85, with goalkeeper Robin Roefs next on 81.

Tottenham Hotspur feature new signing Sandro Tonali as their highest-rated at 85. Pedro Porro follows with 83, and James Maddison, Omar Marmoush, and Marcos Senesi are all rated 82.
