Santos Futebol Clube has finalized an agreement with Adidas to become their official kit supplier beginning with the 2028 season. This ends the partnership with Umbro, which has provided Santos kits since 2018 and will continue until the conclusion of the 2027 season.

The German sportswear company confirmed the deal on Thursday evening, highlighting this as the third period during which they will outfit the iconic Vila Belmiro club. The move aims to boost Santos’ commercial earnings and broaden its international retail presence.

Adidas Strengthens Presence in Brazil’s Top Flight

With this new agreement, Adidas adds Santos to its existing Brazilian portfolio that includes Flamengo, Cruzeiro, and Internacional. The partnership covers matchday kits, training apparel, and lifestyle collections. Santos’ rich history, featuring legends like Pelé and stars such as Neymar and Philippe Coutinho, ensures strong global appeal.

On the field, Santos currently hold eighth place in the Serie A standings, accumulating 38 points over 27 matches. Manager Cuca’s squad faces tough upcoming fixtures: a trip to São Paulo on October 2, a home game against Flamengo six days later, and then traveling to face Atlético Mineiro on October 11.
