Real Madrid Targets 15-Year-Old JJ Gabriel Amid Manchester United Dispute

Real Madrid have launched an aggressive move to sign 15-year-old Manchester United academy forward JJ Gabriel, with the teenager formally attempting to cut ties with the English club.

This week, Gabriel notified United of his intention to cancel his registration with immediate effect, according to MyJoyOnline. United, though, are not accepting that without a fight. The club maintains his registration remains valid until the end of the season and is prepared to challenge the request.

Gabriel, who holds a European Union passport, turns 16 on October 6. For now, he is not training with United, a stark sign of how tense the situation has become around one of the most talked‑about youngsters in their system.

Real Madrid are not alone. Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern are all tracking the forward, while Chelsea are also described as having serious interest.

Several sources have characterised Madrid’s push as “active” rather than speculative. The Spanish giants want Gabriel in the door as soon as possible and plan to integrate him into Real Madrid Castilla, their reserve side competing in the regionalised third tier of Spanish football against senior teams.
