Raphinha Commits to Barcelona Career Finish

Raphinha has drawn a firm line under a summer of speculation. No Premier League return. No late-window twist. The Brazilian has made it clear: he wants to stay at Barcelona – and stay long enough to finish his career in blaugrana.

The winger, speaking to RAC1, confirmed he is ready to sit down with the club and discuss a new contract, even though his current deal already runs until 2028.

“I renewed until 2028 with the idea that, by then, I would be 30 or 31 years old and I didn't know how I would manage,” he said, reflecting on the mindset he had when he first committed long term to Barça.

“I understand that I have enough to last a few more years,” he said. “So, yes, I would be happy to extend my contract a little and finish my career here without having to go anywhere else.”
