Omar Marmoush: Fantasy Premier League's New Differential

Omar Marmoush has barely walked through the door at Tottenham Hotspur, but his Fantasy Premier League relevance is already staring managers in the face.

The Egyptian forward, priced at £7.0m, arrives from Manchester City with one crucial advantage: the fixture list has rolled out a welcome mat.

Fixtures built for a fast start

Spurs are one of only three clubs – along with Bournemouth and Leeds United – who play three of their next four matches at home. For a new signing trying to settle, it doesn’t get much kinder than that.

Their next four in the Premier League:

This week, Savio (£6.5m) was thrown straight in for his debut against Charlton Athletic in the EFL Cup, just a day after completing his own move from Manchester City. He responded with a goal and an assist.

Marmoush, who featured heavily in City’s pre-season and arrives fully fit, could be next in line for that kind of immediate trust. A starting berth against Newcastle on Saturday evening is a realistic prospect, not a long shot.

If De Zerbi wants intensity, pressing and movement between the lines from the first whistle, Marmoush fits the brief.

If Marmoush does explode in this opening run, the question for Fantasy managers won’t be whether to buy him.
