North Dakota Soccer Hosts Florida Atlantic for Historic Clash

The road miles are banked, the jet lag is gone. Now North Dakota comes home to make a little history.

After a 0-1-1 swing through California, the North Dakota women’s soccer team returns to Bronson Field on Sunday for a noon kickoff against Florida Atlantic — the first meeting between the two programs. The series sits at 0-0-0, and both sides will write the opening chapter in Grand Forks.

It’s a one-off week for the Fighting Hawks. No midweek tune-up, no second opponent waiting on the back end. Just a single, spotlight game that also doubles as the second-to-last test of UND’s 2026 non-conference schedule.

Bronson Field hosts the matinee, with action set for 12 p.m. (Noon) CT on Sept. 13.

For those not in the stands, every UND home match is carried on the Summit League Network through Midco Sports Plus, the subscription streaming home for league content. SLN plans to push out more than 600 live events each year, including every North Dakota home and road conference fixture.
