These fullbacks are key to attacking play now. If you can't deliver quality balls from advanced positions, that's a problem. Trent can do that easily. I think he would definitely improve the team. The question is whether the club and fans would accept it, which might be tough."

Mourinho’s Arrival Complicates Alexander-Arnold’s Role

Alexander-Arnold’s situation at Real has become complicated since Jose Mourinho took charge. The Special One appears to favor defensive solidity over the attacking style Alexander-Arnold is known for. "That season must have been disappointing for him. He probably felt hurt it never really got going. If Liverpool could arrange a loan deal—even around £5-10 million—it would be worth bringing him back, because he’s top quality."
