Writing on his official Facebook page, Ramzy confirmed that the Brazilian will land in Egypt this Saturday afternoon, saying: “Juan Pezzera arrives in Cairo at four o'clock this afternoon.. and Pezzera is bringing with him to Cairo four people, including a personal bodyguard”.

A bodyguard in tow. A transfer request still hanging in the air. And a fanbase split between anger and anticipation.

His comeback to the country does not automatically settle anything. Pezzera has missed training, skipped the build-up to the new campaign, and left his future wide open. Whether he stays or forces through a move before the window closes remains unresolved.
