Holywell Town Draws with Trefelin as Season Point Earned

Holywell Town had to come from behind to collect their first point of the season, clawing back a draw at home against fellow newcomers Trefelin.

The visitors, still hunting a maiden victory in the top flight, struck first just after the hour. Louis Phillips produced the moment of the night, spotting the keeper off his line and lifting a superb lob from the edge of the box into the net.

Holywell looked in trouble, rooted to the bottom of the table and staring at another defeat. The response finally arrived eight minutes from time. Harvey Morris found the breakthrough, rescuing a point that eases the gloom slightly, even if Holywell remain propping up the division.

Airbus flying as Peers and Calland punish Old Road hosts

At Old Road, Airbus made their pressure count early. In-form forward George Peers continued his hot streak, grabbing his third goal in as many games on 20 minutes, finishing from close range after a precise cross from Jordan Evans.

The Wingmakers tightened their grip right after the interval. Breaking at pace on the counter, they sliced through the hosts and Oliver Calland calmly tucked away his first goal for the club, giving Airbus a commanding cushion.

Clarke haunts Flint as Caernarfon climb

Caernarfon Town’s rise gathered pace with a 3-0 win over struggling Flint Town United, a result built around another ruthless display from former Flint striker Zack Clarke.

Clarke struck in first-half stoppage time to break the deadlock, then returned seven minutes into the second half to double his tally and take his season’s total to nine. Flint never recovered.

The pressure kept coming and, with the visitors reeling, Osian Evans continued his own prolific run by adding Caernarfon’s third. Flint remain winless and sit 15th, their early-season troubles deepening.

Cambrian fight back as Cardiff Met rue late penalty miss

Cardiff Met looked in complete control at Cyncoed before Cambrian United mounted a spirited comeback to take a point.

The hosts went in front right on the stroke of half-time, Spencer Dymond-Hall rising to head home and send Met into the break with the advantage. When Sam Jones doubled the lead early in the second half, the game seemed to be drifting away from Cambrian.

They refused to accept it. Seven minutes later Alex John pulled one back to change the mood, and suddenly Met were under pressure. Liam Williams’ side kept pushing and were rewarded when Harrison Bright drilled in an equaliser from the edge of the area.

Cardiff Met still had the chance to snatch victory, but CJ Craven missed from the penalty spot, leaving Cambrian’s fightback intact and the home side to reflect on two points that slipped away.
