Harry Kane Scores 100 Bundesliga Goals in Bayern's Dominant Win

Harry Kane did not just reach a landmark on Saturday. He smashed through it.

The England captain scored his 100th and 101st Bundesliga goals in Bayern Munich’s 7-0 rout of Union Berlin, becoming the fastest player ever to reach a century of goals in any of Europe’s top five leagues. He needed only 98 appearances to get there.

"I'm very proud of scoring 101 Bundesliga goals in such a short time," the 33-year-old said in his post-match interview, speaking via Bayern-focused outlet iMiaSanMia. "I've loved every second of it."

The joy was written all over his game. Kane linked, dropped, finished. Surrounded by a front line built to feed him, he made it look routine.

"Playing with Michael (Olise), Lucho (Luis Díaz), Jamal (Musiala), I know I'll get chances," he said. "Thank you to the team and the club. It's a great stat to have. Let's keep it going."

The performance arrived at exactly the moment Bayern needed a statement. Recent wins had not fully convinced, with flat showings against Schalke and Elversberg raising questions about the team’s level despite the results.

Kane knew it.

"We've been winning games and scoring goals recently, but didn't quite reach our top level," he admitted. "It was nice to get to this level today, especially right before the international break."

Off the pitch, Kane’s future remains a live topic. His impact since arriving in Munich has made his contract situation a priority issue at Säbener Straße, and the striker confirmed talks over an extension are active.

"As I said (before), I'm extremely happy here," he said. "The talks are ongoing. I really appreciate the support the fans are showing me here."
