Girona FC Secures Partnership Renewal with Marlex Through 2026/27
Girona FC have locked in another key piece of their off-field project, confirming that Human Resources firm Marlex will extend its partnership with the club through the 2026/27 season.
The agreement keeps Marlex on the back of the first team shirt and firmly embedded in the club’s youth structure, a visible reminder of a relationship that began in the 2023/24 campaign and has quickly become one of Girona’s flagship commercial alliances.
This is not just a logo extension. For a club building carefully, step by step, it is a statement that the institutional project retains serious backing from local business.
“We are very pleased that Marlex continues to stand by us for another season,” he said. “Their confidence in the project demonstrates the strength of the relationship we have built over the years and allows us to keep moving forward with the support of companies that share our values and our way of understanding the Club's growth.”
Club president Delfí Geli did not hide his satisfaction, underlining how much weight this renewal carries in Girona’s wider plans.
The message from the other side of the table matched that tone. For Marlex CEO Àlex Sanabras, this is as much about identity as investment.
“As a company from Girona, continuing alongside Girona FC is a testament to our commitment to the Club and the city that has seen us born and grow,” he said. He looked ahead to the coming campaign with a clear objective: “We are starting a new season where it will be necessary to stay united to make the Club's return to the first division possible. Now more than ever, orgull gironí.”
That phrase – proud Girona – captures the core of the alliance. Founded in 1996, Marlex has grown into a leading Human Resources provider, with three decades of experience and a network of more than 80 offices across the peninsula. Its leadership likes to stress values such as attitude, commitment and teamwork, traits the company sees reflected in Girona FC’s own evolution.
The club, for its part, gains more than a sponsor. It gains continuity. In an era when many regional firms look elsewhere, Girona keep a locally rooted partner that has chosen to grow alongside the club, season after season.
As the push for a top-flight return intensifies, that kind of stable, value-driven backing may prove just as important as any signing.
