Everton are reportedly preparing a bid to sign Manchester United striker Ethan Wheatley before the summer transfer window closes. The 20-year-old forward has appeared four times for Man United's first team, including three matches in the Premier League during the 2023-24 season.

Wheatley has spent recent periods on loan at Walsall, Northampton Town, and Bradford City. This summer, he is expected to leave Manchester United permanently. There is interest from clubs in the Championship, but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Everton are emerging as front runners.

The Toffees plan to make a formal offer for Wheatley, who has represented England at the Under-20 level. Notably, Wheatley is absent from Manchester United's pre-season squad, signaling that his departure from Old Trafford could happen soon.

PSG Closing in on Ajax Forward Mika Godts

Paris Saint-Germain seem close to securing the signing of Ajax attacker Mika Godts. The 21-year-old Belgian international has been linked with several clubs this summer, including Manchester United.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Godts has agreed to join the French champions, with negotiations ongoing between PSG and Ajax. The Dutch club is reportedly asking for around €60 million (£51.3m) for the forward.

Godts has made 113 appearances for Ajax across all competitions, scoring 25 goals and providing 27 assists. He has experience playing in both the Champions League and Europa League, which will benefit him at PSG.

West Ham Set to Sell Midfielder Dan Potts to Club Brugge

West Ham United have reached an agreement to sell midfielder Dan Potts to Club Brugge for approximately €12 million (£10.3m). The 22-year-old’s contract with West Ham runs until 2029, and he was expected to be a key player in their Championship campaign.

Journalist Mike McGrath revealed that Club Brugge view Potts as the perfect replacement for Raphael Onyedika, who is moving to Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany. Potts has contributed one assist in 28 appearances for West Ham, including 22 Premier League games.
