The problem was not serious enough to sideline him from today’s session, but the protection on his right leg underlined that he is not yet at 100%.

Inter are scheduled to fly to Spain this afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s clash at the Bernabéu, with Dimarco’s name still in doubt for the official squad list. The club is treading carefully with one of Cristian Chivu’s key weapons down the flank, aware of the demands of a long season and the intensity of a Champions League opener away to Real Madrid.
