"I think he’s one of those players who could get into high double figures if used right and stays fit. He’s definitely one to watch this season."

Cole also highlighted the support Pedro receives from former teammate Danny Welbeck, suggesting this helps Pedro feel secure rather than threatened by competition.

Alonso Compares Pedro to Karim Benzema

Chelsea’s head coach Xabi Alonso is focused on getting the best out of Pedro. Having played alongside legends like Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, Alonso sees similarities between Pedro and Karim Benzema. He remarked:

"If you count the top strikers in the Premier League, Joao is definitely there, along with Haaland.
