Arsenal Steps Back from Pursuing Vinicius Junior

It seems Arsenal is stepping away from the idea of signing Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid. The hopes of wrapping up a deal this transfer window have all but disappeared.

According to Spain's Marca, the London club now believes Vinicius will renew his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu. This expectation has led Arsenal to drop plans of making a huge offer for the player.

Arsenal had been leading the chase, especially after Real Madrid hinted they might sell for more than 100 million euros. Yet, Vinicius himself hasn’t given any sign that he wants to leave.

The contract talks remain key. Vinicius’ current deal runs out next summer, so Real Madrid faces two choices: agree on a new contract or sell him now rather than lose him for free later. So far, Vinicius has shown no public intention to depart or seek a fresh challenge elsewhere.

With Vinicius slipping away, Arsenal is exploring other attacking options. Gabriel Martinelli’s future is uncertain, while PSG’s Bradley Barcola is gaining attention as a potential target. Liverpool also seems interested in Barcola.
