Arsenal Revives Iconic Yellow for 2026–27 Third Kit
Arsenal Returns to Classic Yellow for 2026–27 Third Jersey
Arsenal is bringing back a beloved color for their new third kit, reviving the yellow shade after five years. Known mostly for their red shirts, the club first adopted yellow as an alternate in the 1950s. Since then, several of their most memorable jerseys have featured this striking color.
The yellow jersey hasn’t appeared on the pitch since the 2021–22 season, with recent uses limited to lifestyle collections. Now, under manager Mikel Arteta, the team will wear this vibrant hue again in the upcoming campaign.
"Arsenal State of Mind" Inspires New Design
The new kit comes under the theme "Arsenal State of Mind," emphasizing that the club represents more than just football—it’s a shared ambition and identity. After last season’s Premier League triumph, expectations are soaring as Arsenal aims for European success. This kit symbolizes progress and a push toward greater achievements.
The design pairs the yellow shirt with navy shorts and socks and is available now through Arsenal and adidas.
Players Embrace the Meaning Behind the Kit
"Being part of Arsenal means being part of something bigger than yourself," said Alessia Russo, forward for Arsenal Women. "There’s a sense of belief, ambition and togetherness that connects everyone who loves this club. That’s what Arsenal State of Mind means to me. It’s the feeling that we’re all part of the same journey and pushing towards the same goals. We can’t wait to wear this kit and create more amazing memories with our supporters this season."
Kai Havertz Sets the Bar High for the Season
Striker Kai Havertz made clear that settling for anything less than trophies is not an option. He stated,
"We want all the trophies. That’s what we’re here for. We won the Premier League now but there’s a lot more that we can do. We have to reach another level to make that happen because we know how long the season is and how hard it is to go through all the competitions. We want to do it better again this year and make things happen again.""I think we can, or we have to go further. You see especially other teams getting better, so we have to step up another level again. I think that’s what we’re all here for, that’s what we train for. We want to start strong and reach our goals this season again."
