Andrea Pinamonti Joins Lazio on Loan

Andrea Pinamonti is finally on his way to Rome.

Lazio and Sassuolo have reached a full agreement for the striker’s move to the capital, ending a negotiation that had effectively been settled on the player’s side for some time. Pinamonti had long given his approval to the switch; now the clubs have caught up.

The deal is set up as a loan with an option to buy, giving Lazio the chance to test the waters before committing fully. The green light from Sassuolo arrived on Tuesday, and confirmation quickly spread across Italy’s transfer landscape.

Fabrizio Romano sealed it with his familiar “Here We Go”, the clearest sign yet that the operation has moved from rumour to reality.

Lazio insider Damiano Er Faina also described the move as a done deal, reinforcing the sense that only the formalities remain.

The numbers tell a slightly different story depending on who you listen to. Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio estimates the total package at around €12 million, combining the loan fee with potential add-ons. Alfredo Pedullà paints a slightly leaner picture, suggesting the Biancocelesti will pay just over €10 million in total, with more than €3 million of that coming immediately as the loan fee.

La Lazio Siamo Noi broadly aligns on the size of the initial outlay, again pointing to a loan fee in that region. The final bill, though, is still a moving target. The overall cost will hinge on bonuses linked to sporting objectives, meaning Pinamonti’s impact on the pitch could directly shape the balance sheet.

For Lazio, the agreement answers a pressing question in attack. The next one is more intriguing: how far can Pinamonti push his game in Rome, and how quickly will he convince the club to turn that option into an obligation?
